Connaught Carpets and Flooring: website, showroom, logo and video work
Connaught Carpets and Flooring needed website, showroom, logo, video and photography work that reflected a friendly local flooring specialist.
Connaught Carpets and Flooring needed a website that felt welcoming, established and easy to browse. Flooring is a visual purchase, but it is also a trust purchase. Customers want to see the showroom, understand the product ranges and feel that the fitters know what they are doing.
The project included website work, showroom photography, logo work, business card design and video/photo assets for the showroom and product ranges. It is now shown in our Connaught work page, with the website and visual material presented together.
The Connaught identity uses a crown mark, deep blue and gold. It feels established without becoming stiff. That tone suits a flooring business that wants to be seen as local, knowledgeable and friendly.
Good branding and logo design has to match the kind of business it represents. In this case, the look needed enough warmth for homeowners and enough polish for a showroom environment.
Carpets, natural flooring, engineered wood, luxury vinyl tiles, runners and rugs all need clear routes. The home page introduces the business and gives visitors fast access to the product areas.
That structure helps customers who are still browsing and customers who already know what they want. It also gives the website more focused content for search.
The imagery is a big part of the project. A flooring site needs texture, rooms, close-up detail and genuine showroom context. Connaught had material for carpets, natural flooring, engineered wood, luxury vinyl tiles, runners and rugs, so the visuals needed to feel broad without becoming a stock-style product grid.
The showroom photography and video work give the website more life. The video assets and edited showroom footage help visitors understand what Connaught offers and give the business useful material for social media, blog posts and future campaigns.
Connaught serves Hebden Bridge, Calder Valley and the surrounding area, so the site needs clear local signals. Footer content, product pages, blog posts and service areas all help build that picture.
The broader lesson is simple: for local retail and showroom businesses, the website should do more than list products. It should show the place, explain the service and make the next step easy.
